Indian Fast Food
Location: Indian Fast Food.
Google rating at time of writing: 4.6
BYOB: Yes
Mood: Excited to embark on the quest of a lifetime.
Attendees: Peter Gil, Will Kemsley and myself (Patrick Littlewood)
Ambience: Just a few other diners initially. Picked up later in the evening: 7/10
Decor: Classic. Pleather. Metal. No wood carvings in sight. Bit trashy, like myself, but no pretensions: 7/10
Starters: 4 Poppadoms, fresh: 8/10
Bhajis - Dry : 5/10
Service: Polite but relaxed.
Main: Tilapia Jalfrezy (which Peter Gil shamelessly copied). Spicy and remarkable: 9/10
Garlic Naan & Pilau Rice both very good: 8/10
Conclusion: For me, this was your classic Indian restaurant. Down to earth, good service, excellent food. Peter and Will were on good form. The perfect storm. I'll be very happy if the next meal lives up to this.
Overall Score: 8.5/10.
